The results showed that Epitalon works as an antioxidant, reducing the number of reactive oxygen series present. The study also found that Epitalon regulates mitochondrial activity, leading to increased membrane potential, increased copy number of DNA, and decreased apoptosis of oocytes, ultimately delaying age-related damage.
